Office Hours is Innovation Victoria's entry point to Victoria's innovation ecosystem.
Designed for people at the earliest stages of the innovation journey, Office Hours helps innovators understand the opportunities available across Victoria's innovation ecosystem and connect with the funding, capability, networks and initiatives that can help turn ideas into products, companies and impact.
We don't provide advice. We provide navigation - helping innovators understand the opportunities available across Victoria's innovation ecosystem, identify the initiatives that best align with their needs, and connect with the people, organisations and networks that can help them progress their innovation journey.
To participate, you must:
- Be connected to Victoria through activity that contributes to economic growth, job creation, business expansion, capital attraction, or the commercialisation of research and development in or from Victoria.
- Be developing a venture, company, technology or innovation that aligns with Innovation Victoria's focus areas.
- Be at the idea, pre-seed or early stage of your innovation journey.

Who does Innovation Victoria support?
Innovation Victoria supports innovative companies with the potential to deliver significant growth and impact through the development of new products, services, technologies or business models. Whether addressing an unmet need, creating a new market opportunity or transforming an existing industry, these companies are characterised by their ability to scale. They are designed for growth, often leveraging innovation and technology to reach large markets, attract investment, create skilled jobs and contribute to Victoria's innovation economy.
How many sessions are available?
All Office Hours sessions are run virtually. You are sent a link in your email booking confirmation. To give as many Victorian founders access to this service as possible, Innovation Victoria limits bookings to one session per founder every six months.
What does impact to Victoria mean?
Office Hours sessions are open to founders and startup teams with a meaningful connection to Victoria. This includes ventures that are expected to support business growth, job creation, investment, commercial expansion or research commercialisation in Victoria. Individuals who have not yet established a registered business, but can demonstrate a connection to Victoria, are also encouraged to participate.
